What do you need?

• 1.5 cups of hot water
• .25 cups of Dawn dish soap
• .25 cups of white vinegar
• A squeeze of lemon juice
• Ten drops of peppermint essential oil
• Spray bottle

Mix the solution, add to a spray bottle, and – boom – you have an all-purpose cleaner.

TikTok Hack for Dusting

Have you been endlessly dusting with a dry cloth, not removing the dust, just moving it around, try this cleaning hack from TikTok user @jillcomesclean.

Wet your hands thoroughly, and then dry your hands with the rag. Do this a few times until your rag has the perfect moisture level to pick up dust. Using a moist cloth to dust will catch the tiny micro-dust that collects all over our homes, shimmering like pixie dust in the sun.

To add extra shine, rub down your furniture with jojoba oil.

Trash bin: Add essential oils to cotton balls and toss them into the bottom of the trash bin (below the bag).

Toilet roll: Add essential oils to the inside roll of the toilet paper, so your bathroom has a refreshing scent every time that roll gets used.

Toilet brush: Pour boiling water over the toilet brush and use disinfectant spray. Last, prop it between the base of the toilet and toilet seat to air dry.

We can’t say we’ve ever heard about this home hack before but it’s brilliant! stain remover. Think about it. They remove stains from dentures, so they can remove stains from your sink, too.

• Fill the sink with warm water.
• Add 4 denture tablets to the water sitting in the sink.
• Let the solution sit for 30 minutes.
• Rinse and wipe down with a paper towel.

The results? Mold, mildew, and stains are gone!

Pots and pans: Add a lemon, baking soda, and boiling water. Let it simmer, and the gunk from yesterday’s fried chicken will come right off your favorite stainless steel pan.

Wooden cutting board: Add salt and scrub with half lemon. The stains will simply drift off.

Plastic cutting boards: Add baking soda and white vinegar, and then scrub with a lemon.

Measuring cup: When you’re measuring something sticky for a recipe like honey, add cooking spray first. The stickiness will melt away.
